"Ain't I'm Clean?"

New Soul Clap & Dance-off poster of Rufus Thomas doin' the funky chicken. I try to keep the colors to a minimum on these posters, and it usually doesn't happen, but that Funky Chicken album cover is too cool not to make a nod to. Grab your tickets HERE!

Dancin Our Way Into The New Year

Here's my newest poster for Jonathan Toubin's Soul Clap and Dance Off at Brooklyn Bowl. It's all going down next Saturday the 17th of January with guest DJ Jaleel Bunton from TV on The Radio. The man who's featured front and center in this illustration is Nathaniel Mayer, an R&B singer from Detroit.

Here's a little sampling of Nathaniel Mayer with "I Want Love and Affection (Not The House of Correction)

Father figures doin righteous things

Whipped up a little set of father figures for my friends fundraiser. All of these will be for sale, along with other local and non-local artists work, to support their DIY skate spot in Syracuse, NY. The event is on April 5th at 7pm at Spark Contemporary Art Space. Go and buy some stuff hanging on the walls so they can keep the spot going.

The Mission Continues

More sketches from the mission to draw every day for a year.

Marc Maron

Moon Zappa

Robert Pollard of Guided by Voices. I know this will only draw attention, but try and disregard that horrible little self-portrait.

Lindsey Buckingham. Rumors-era and Tusk-era.

Linda and Charles Bukowski.

All day. Every day.

I've been on a mission to draw every single day for the next year. It's like a new years resolution for me in a way. I read an interview with a pro skateboarder that was going through getting comfortable on his board again after an injury and it inspired to get on a mission. I started off with drawing some of my favorite moments in horror movies, or just characters from my favorite horror movies. I did this all the way 'til Halloween and the rest are just from the past few days.
