NY Night Train Haunted Hop 2022
Jonathan Toubin is bringing his annual HAUNTED HOP back big time for 2022. And to coincide with the triumphant return of his Halloween bash at the gargantuan Queens, NY venue, Knockdown Center, I whipped up 2 posters to promote this party to end all parties. Since we had a baby leather daddy, inspired by the Norman Rockwell Saturday Evening Post illustrations, for his NYE party for the start of 2022 it feels like a logical progression that we have a skeleton leather daddy, inspired by the work of Tom of Finland, for the Halloween bash. Scroll down for process pics, which you will notice have different bands and order of bands playing due to working on these while we were still finalizing plans.

Old BK Coffee T-shirt
Back in the winter of 2022, my buddy, who runs the coffee shop COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE in Cleveland, OH and I decided to work up an old sketch we thought would be a funny t-shirt for his shop. We originally joked about doing this prior to covid shutting everything down but, now the time has come.
At the moment, the shirt is up for PRESALE through the month of September and if you check out his instagram: @oldbkcoffee he is currently offering 3 people the chance to win a shirt for free along with a $50 gift card. Shirt comes in a color version for $40 (pictured above) and a B&W version for $30 (pictured below) and are available in S, M, L and XL. Link below to place your preorder.

Skatepark Fundraiser PRESALE!
Ok, folks. Here we go! Time to start raising some money to help Corning, NY (my hometown) get a new skatepark and here's your chance to help out by purchasing a commemorative t-shirt honoring the one and only OLD PARK! All profits from the shirt sales will go towards getting a new spot built in Denison Park.
This is PRE-SALE ONLY for the time being. I will keep the pre-order going until August 31st to give everyone ample time to find out about this and get in an order if they'd like. Orders will start shipping out a month after the pre-sale ends.
Shirts will be available in S, M, L, XL and come in black on white tee or blue on white tee (a nod to Corning's Little Joe tower). All tees will be printed with solvent and lead-free, water based inks on 100% cotton Gildan Hammer tees in Cleveland, OH.
Click on link below to PRE-ORDER and click on either t-shirt image based on the color way you'd prefer and then scroll down to choose your size. Images of sample t-shirts and phase 1 design of the new skatepark below.

The skatepark as it stands now. The city initially considered bulldozing the original park (which they did) and putting down a pad for prefab ramps. We think that with enough time and money we can get something built that would be far superior and withstand the northeast season changes over the years.
These are the current renderings of our initial skatepark design. Things will most likely change as time goes on but we are hopeful that we can get something very similar to this built.

Recent A-frames
Over the past few months I've had the fortune of getting back to some a-frame work for Makitiki's summer pop-up over at South Street Seaport (see a couple posts back for more info on that) and Bin Bin Sake, a new sake, wine, Japanese whisky and shochu shop in Brooklyn. If you're down at the seaport this summer keep an eye out for these bright babies and they'll guide you to a little oasis tucked in the center of all the action.
