Soul Clap & Dance-Off - Friday the 13th Edition

First illustration of 2023 is here. Jonathan Toubin is bringing his Soul Clap & Dance-Off to Austin, TX to the 13th Floor this Friday, the 13th. Since the party landed on this spooky date we had to squeeze some black cats and ladders in there. I also thought it'd be pretty slick to get eyes moving through the piece by taking the look of dance step diagrams and change it into a guide for how to avoid all the bad luck placed throughout the illustration. And, for anyone that is curious, I drew up Texas icon Barbara Lynn for this poster since the dance-off is going down in Austin.

Barbara Lynn and the Soul Clap

New Poster for the monthly Soul Clap and Dance Off at Brooklyn Bowl hosted by Jonathan Toubin with his very special guest: Nick Waterhouse. We went with  Barbara Lynn to grace the center of this month's poster. Come check out all the action this Saturday, the 28th, from midnight to 4am.

Sketchin in 2015

Been a wee bit since I just posted some sketchbook nonsense. Time is a little more precious these days. Hopefully I can strike back in a big way now that winter is in full swing and hermit mode is a very appealing idea. 

Mad Max

Last year I got an Iphone. This year I watched the entire Breaking Bad series. I am starting to catch up. These sketches are part of the grieving process/separation anxiety I am going through now that's it all over.

 Sometimes you're just with your bros in the woods doin' bro shit.
