The time has come! Jonathan Toubin is bringing back his Soul Clap & Dance-Off party and joining in on this momentous night are Miranda and The Beat (who have a record release party in conjunction with the festivities) The Bobby Lees and Ma Holos. It all goes down on Saturday, July 10th at TV EYE in Ridgewood, NY.
It's pretty wild to be sitting here putting up a poster I just made advertising live music and dancing inside a music venue. Not to be too dramatic but this time last year I had thoughts along the lines of "Well, if my time doing posters for live music is done, or at least drastically cut back, I guess that's the way the dice are gonna roll and I'll have to figure something else out." I still feel a little hesitant to totally dive back into the way I lived life prior to the pandemic but, these glimmers of what life was like prior to the shutdown are really helping my, and I'm sure millions of others, mental health.
