After I heard the news that Paul Reubens passed away I had a crazy urge to draw a scene from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and I almost immediately landed on the scene where Pee-Wee and Simone are hanging out at the Cabazon Dinosaurs. While I was working on that drawing I decided I wanted to do a couple more drawings of pop culture moments where the famous roadside attraction appears. Like my neon road sign series, I think this series will also just continue along when I have the time to add to it.
