This is my friend Matt. Months ago he asked me to do a drawing of him and at first it was going to be a simple sketch but I turned it into this mess of a picture. I wanted to incorporate a lot of things/events from his life into it, so all the little bits and pieces in this picture have been his job locations, skateboard poses, traveled roads, childhood stomping grounds, and actual clothes. He's a character for sure.

I really enjoy your work. I see you doing political cartoons, and I hope you're not insulted by the thought.
I'm flattered that you enjoy my illustrations. As far as political cartoons go; I really enjoy them and my favorite illustrators have all done them but I'm not sure if I have the wit for it.

Ah, but I know how you could get around that. Songwriters collaborate, so why not cartoonists? I can imagine you working from someone else's caption or else a caption writer working from your painting.
