Both these and the Soul Clap prints can be found by clicking on portfolio and going to the prints section on my site.

James Brown, Randy Jones and The Soul Clap

This month's Soul Clap and Dance Off poster is ready for you to feast your eyes upon. We decided that since it's going to be the 8 year anniversary get down that we should go big and use "The Godfather of Soul" himself, Mr. James Brown! This one was a blast to work on even though I thought I was about to blow it halfway through. Pulled a sweet all-nighter and it was totally worth it. the party starts at midnight at Brooklyn Bowl on March 28th!! Oh, and in case you didn't notice, Randy Jones, the original cowboy of The Village People, is going to be guest DJing!

A lil' insight into this posters creation below:

Godzilla versus Barkley: A Love Story

Godzilla vs. Barkley was such a big deal for me as a kid. I had the poster and a shirt of it. Never had the shoes though. I've been working on getting some time to do this piece and finally got that feeling to throw it down one day. Maybe it synched up when the newest Godzilla film last year came out but I was feeling nostalgic and I wanted to pay homage and to one of my favorite advertising campaigns/illustrations of all time, and add my two cents on how this whole thing would've really gone down. But, there's one thing that has bugged me about digging through this old stuff and that is I can't find any information, anywhere, on who the illustrator was that did this for Nike. I want to thank them. And credit them so I don't get in any trouble for this piece.

This is the original image. It's amazing. It has to be one of the early major factors in making want to be an illustrator.

My Little One

My main man passed away a few weeks ago and I miss him. I created this portrait so that when I'm old and tired, I can sit in front of my fireplace and cheers his portrait that rests on the mantle while I sip on fancy whiskey and smoke expensive cigars. Or, maybe it'll lay next to me, in my cardboard box, my only possession left in this world, keeping me company in a dark, cold alley.

goodnight, sweet prince.
